Nope, still stuck on “almost kissing” mode. Incapable of drawing kissing.
His hand burned on her neck. He could snap it at any moment, of course. but the way the touch shuddered and the way his knuckles clenched… he really had no idea what to do with it.
He tread these waters in only the most rudimentary way. She had been trained to ford them from girlhood.
Zelda drew close, close enough to feel the furnace of his skin and the draw of his breath. Was he afraid of breathing too hard upon her? He had a scent, of musk, of leather and iron, and distant sands.
And when she was close enough, to whisper in a voice so low she could barely force the sound from her throat, she spoke. His lips flinched.
“Ganondorf,” she whispered. “You are still my enemy.”
And as she left him, the air upon her face was so starkly cold she almost wanted to return. But there was no need for that. Already she could feel him seethe.
He would come to her before long…as he always did.
Had some weird dreams last night
Also I don’t draw people kissing. I draw people almost-kissing. I realize this is a tendency of mine.
I kind of want to play with the idea of an older zelda. Like, you get this feeling that Link and Zelda are two kids who aren’t really sure what they’re doing, I like the idea of an older, queenish Zelda who is wiser and more experienced (and maybe more bitter???).
The chains shrieked, clattering as he surged forward. But, like a dog cut on a short lead, they held him back by mere inches. Not even an inch as he craned down, massive bulk churning against the bonds. They cut into his arms, but if their prisoner noticed their welts he made not a sound or twitch to indicate it.
“Do not think this is over,” said he. “I have seen the end, and you are not in it.”
And the way the queen looked at him, it was the resolution, and the desolation, of a stone idol.
“You know as well as I do that there is no end, Ganondorf.”
strangely it is my favorite couple x3
The Gerudo dies today.
Coarse stubble colors his chin. He is gaunt and starved, forcibly shouldered up to the platform where his senses are too dulled to kneel, so the escort eagerly kicks the backs of his knees and Ganondorf drops…
Finished! Some of you might remember part of the sketch from Cracktember Challenge. It was planned to become a wonderful painting with a landscape bg, full of hidden meanings, but got totally lost after the characters were ready… yeah, have a window instead. Which, in my mind, is either the OoT courtyard window or a random Temple of Time window.
Dear Ponthion, who’s a charming person and great artist, posted a beautiful ZelGan piece several days ago - it seems backgrounds are our enemies ehehe. When I look at our artworks now, I’m amazed how similar and yet very different they turned out xD
Zelda’s 5’7”, Ganny’s 7’2” tall. I wanted to make him big, somehow intimidating, but still human. While this princess is quite tall and never had to move her eyes that high while talking to someone.
Some Ganondorf/Zelda for my Ponthi babe UvU ♥
